# Argus > No permanent service, no database, suited to machines with less than 1 GB of RAM. Argus counts the attacks against Debian and Ubuntu servers, SSH by itself and the bans of Fail2Ban and CrowdSec when they are installed, and keeps the history as charts drawn by a nightly cron job. ## Pages - [Argus](index.md): the home page - [Installation](installation/index.md): the package on the server - [Desk](desk/index.md): copy the charts with argus-fetch - [Charts](charts/index.md): the daily, period and hourly views - [How it works](how-it-works/index.md): collection, flat files, rendering, no daemon - [Compatibility](compatibility/index.md): what the package needs - [Privacy](privacy/index.md): counts per hour, never an IP address - [About](about/index.md): who did what - [Changelog](changelog/index.md): the 1.0.0 release ## Source code and guides - [Repository](https://github.com/RonanDavalan/Argus) - [Installation guide](https://github.com/RonanDavalan/Argus/blob/main/docs/install.md) - [Desk guide](https://github.com/RonanDavalan/Argus/blob/main/docs/desk.md) - [Charts guide](https://github.com/RonanDavalan/Argus/blob/main/docs/charts.md) - [Troubleshooting guide](https://github.com/RonanDavalan/Argus/blob/main/docs/troubleshooting.md) - [MIT licence](https://github.com/RonanDavalan/Argus/blob/main/LICENSE)
